When Andy Kaufman died back in 1984 at the tender age of 35 I thought it was another Kaufman stunt. I figured he would emerge again but in some other badly-masked persona, but I waited and waited, and nothing. Gee, I thought, maybe he really did die.
According to wikipedia:
Kaufman allegedly told many people...that he wished to fake his own death prior to his actual death. This has caused some fans to believe Kaufman is still alive. Kaufman himself purportedly claimed that if he were to fake his death, he would return 20 years later, which would have been in 2004.
Well, 2004 was 8 years ago, and still nothing. Gee, maybe he really did die.
What does Andy Kaufman have to do with Andrew Breitbart? Well, Andy, Andrew. It doesn't take a genius to figure out what's going on here.
According to his wikipedia page, "Andrew Breitbart" first started making TV appearances in 2004. That's right: 2004. The same year that Kaufman said he would return if he, in fact, had faked his death. I think you can start seeing where I'm going with this.
In 2004 [Breitbart] was a guest commentator on Fox News Channel's morning show and frequently appeared as a guest panelist on Fox News's late night program, Red Eye w/ Greg Gutfeld. Breitbart also appeared as a commentator in the 2004 documentary Michael Moore Hates America.
Breitbart quickly made a name for himself with his outrageous, in-your-face, comments and behavior. For instance, in the hours immediately following Senator Ted Kennedy's death, Breitbart posted a series of Twitter messages in which he called Kennedy a "villain," a "duplicitous bastard" and a "prick." Breitbart was so over-the-top outrageous and offensive that many people wondered if, in fact, this was all just an act.
So now I invite everyone to look at the two photos below.

Add 20 years to Andy Kaufman and you can start to see some similarities. The hairline, the square chin, the long thin nose. Even the famous lip-snear that made Kaufman's impersonation of Elvis so believable. "Breitbart" supposedly was only 43 years old, but look at that photo -- he is one very old looking 43 year old. Kaufman, who was born in 1949, would be 62 today, but he always had a boyish look to him -- which was what made his Mighty Mouse impersonation so good.
Famous "Breitbart" victim Shirley Sherrod was suing "Breitbart" for slander, and earlier this month the US District Court in Washington DC refused "Breitbart's" request to dismiss the suit, so the suit would be going forward. Considering that, something had to give for "Breitbart" -- either he was going to have to unmask himself as the long-dead Andy Kaufman and admit that this was all another Kaufmanesque stunt gone bad, or he would have to "die" again.
I'm on to you Kaufman.
