Here goes my first diary here. I was alerted yesterday to a blog post from an Ohioan that so perfectly captures the distilled essence of tea party that I had to share it. It reads like The Onion, but following up its internal links makes pretty clear this is the genuine view of a real person.
Signs that read “Deer Crossing” and the like are going to continue to pop up throughout our country including Avon Lake, but who are these signs for? Deer cannot read, do not obey the law and probably will cross where they wish. ... Yet, these signs cost taxpayers like so much of government.Considering Ohio's quadrennial electoral significance, it's almost (not quite) enough to suggest that those who want to impede voting have a point.
The Buck Stops Here (as Truman so pointlessly put it, given that the critters weren't even allowed on the grounds), so there's nothing but any comments o'er the orange antlers.
