I don't know about you but I have looked forward to this day for the longest time! I am absolutely giddy about it now. I even woke up happy!
This was/is the day many who need some psychiatric intervention on the right believe would be the day that Obamacare required all citizens to have RFID chips placed in our hands.

When you consider how insanely they've insisted Obamacare has "death panels" one might think they got the whole idea from
reading watching Logan's Run. But as it turns out
Snopes traces this to the Bible.

Snopes rated the whole thing as "False" and then went further on to say:
First off, the referenced information was not part of the "Obamacare" health care legislation actually enacted by Congress. The page numbers and language cited in the example above were taken from HR 3200, an early House version of health care reform legislation which was never passed by Congress; passages cited from HR 3200 are therefore irrelevant. The cited wording did not appear in the replacement bill (HR 3590) eventually passed as the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, and although similar language was included in initial versions of the subsequent reconciliation bill ( HR 4872), it too did not appear in the final version of that bill as passed by Congress.
Second, nothing in any of those unpassed bills mandated that anyone be implanted with any type of microchip or RFID-based device, for any reason. The passages quoted above reference a section of the legislation that simply called for the creation of a registry which would allow the Department of Health and Human Services to collect data about medical devices "used in or on a patient" (such as pacemakers or hip replacements) for purposes that included tracking the effectiveness of such devices and facilitating the distribution of manufacturer recall notices. Absolutely nothing in those bills required that patients receive any type of implantable device (microchip or otherwise) or authorized the government to mandate the implantation of devices in patients.

Some of us even went so far as to ask those that really believed this tripe if they thought it reasonable that the government would place the chip in an area where it could be easily dug out.
No response . . . we were are part of the liberal cabal that is so stupid that we will be in Obama re-education camps. Yeah, don't try pointing out the illogic of putting a liberal into camp to re-educate them into being liberal, you'll freeze the system. Sort of like telling a computer to put all it's capacity into computing the last digit of Pi.
I'll admit, I am wicked enough to remind my fellow Americans who believed and shared this clap trap on Facebook and through email that this did not come to pass today. Not because I think it will wake them up, but because, like the "day after the end of the world parties" it's fun.
I will offer them crow recipes. I wonder if, in the coming years, that bird will become an endangered species. Well, no, that requires some self reflection and an actual admission that they were wrong. But as their postmortem of their loss in the 2012 election has shown, they don't seem to be wired that way.
But today is a happy day, and one of many where the accusations, conspiracy theories and just plain insanity about Obamacare are proven false. There have been no round ups, no street by street rousting of citizens as they stand in queue waiting by a black gubberment bus waiting for their free RFID chip.
The worst thing that has come down my block this morning was the truck carrying someone's home heating oil.
