Can this week get any better for those of us who have waited all year long to see this man slip from his slimy hate-radio throne? I love the Young Turks - and this made my day. Hope it does as much for  you. Here's to the Free Market. Hats off to the boycotting, petitioning and protesting public.

This is an addition to an earlier and more lengthy Daily Kos diary: http://www.dailykos.com/...

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

  •  Went to high school with a guy that is the "fixer" (6+ / 0-)

for Glenn Beck and Rush. I've noticed that ever since Sandra Fluke he tests trial balloons on FB. Currently he's desperately pushing Benghazi claiming next week the "dam" will break and it will be worse than Watergate.

He was doing fine mobilizing the right-wingers on Tues until someone: 1) listed all the attacks on embassies and number dead during the Bush admin; 2) posted a clip of the Reps talking about cutting embassy security funds; and 3) called the wingnuts hypocrites. The right-wingers responded that it was the covering up of the lie that was the problem. It was downhill from there.

Chatter ensued and eventually ALL sides agreed that ALL politicians were liars and our only solution was term limits.

Wed he tried to re-inflate the balloon. It went very badly. He had zero takers -- no righties and no lefties! You can tell that he's desperate to revive Beck and Rush. You can tell he thought the Benghazi hype was going to do it . . . but if his FB page is any indication . . . there is not enough air to get them flying anytime soon.

    •  Hmmm. And who could that someone have been? (2+ / 0-)

The desperation is taking on a very foul stench. What a crappy job that guy has. I hope he's made buckets of money and is set for life, because I see a pink slip in his future.

To make others less happy is a crime. To make ourselves unhappy is where all crime starts. We must try to contribute joy to the world. That is true no matter what our problems, our health, our circumstances. We must try. Roger Ebert

say he has raked in the money -- sadly, I think he loves his job.

During the Fluke fluff-up he jetted off in what appeared to be Rush's private plane and lost tons of FB friends.

Funny thing is that he's at Disneyland today!

the problem goes beyond the sandra fluke mysoginy. if it extends generally to hate speech that will also hit the levins and savages and becks.

i wonder how much they will continue to benefit from the local advertisers though

      •  we will see in near future not only how far they (0+ / 0-)

go to keep limbaugh going but how far they go to keep the rest of them going.

limbaugh may be the keystone for much of their propaganda but those stations are still huge in their communities and an integral part of the state and national GOP operations. the local advertisers that feed them can can steer clear of his show but keep the stations going with the rest of their partisan anti-democratic programming merely because many of those stations are the loudest in their communities/states with traffic and sports etc..
