Received this e-mail today from Alison Lundergan Grimes' (D. KY) U.S. Senate campaign today:
You’d think Mitch McConnell would do anything he could to distance himself from someone who said women are “programmed” to prefer finding a man instead of earning a successful professional career—but that’s not Mitch McConnell.
Rather than condemning these sexist beliefs, Mitch has embraced them. So much so that today, Dennis Prager—the guy who regularly espouses this vile rhetoric in right-wing blogs and talk radio—is headlining a big money McConnell campaign fundraiser in California.
Prager’s views on women are so outrageous that he once wrote—unbelievably—that women shouldn’t be “preoccupied with developing a career.”
McConnell’s willingness to let someone with these extreme, sexist views bankroll his campaign is a total disgrace.
Sign our petition and tell Mitch McConnell to denounce Prager and his sexist attacks on women.

For nearly 30 years, Mitch has failed to stand with Kentucky’s women and working families. This latest revelation is another disturbing example in a pattern of behavior where Mitch puts himself first and ordinary Kentuckians second.
Mitch’s eagerness to take money from someone who espouses these radical views is consistent with his troubling legacy of championing an anti-women agenda.
Whether it’s voting against equal pay for equal work or labeling the Violence Against Women Act a “distraction,” Mitch McConnell’s consistent record of failing to lead on women’s issues is unacceptable.
Add your name and tell McConnell that enough is enough. Kentucky women deserve better.
