We've been doing this since 2011, but since Amazon has done something similar recently, I figured I'd make another video.
Also, note the laser-cutter attachment to the 3D printer, I have just patented the design, it costs $200 and if I sell 20 I will open source the thing.

Now, is this just me advertising my product?
Not quite.
The point I am trying to make is -- all this stuff was built on a shoestring budget; the laser cutter and delivery drone, together, cost less than $1000 in parts.
Don't fear drones or directed-energy devices: build them! Own the technology! Makerspaces are popping up everywhere, so go learn!
Large, monolithic systems such as multinationals and governments have the advantage of economies of scale, but YOU have the advantage of being able to turn on a dime.
Does phone tracking matter if everyone can turn it on and off on your mobile phone?
Does police brutality matter if it is filmed from enough angles to be undeniable and inescapable?
We finally have a good answer to "Who watches the watchmen": everybody else. It's just a technical problem, and in this culture, we are very good at solving those!
