BOYCOTT WALGREENS

Walgreens is deciding whether to renounce their US citizenship and move their headquarters overseas. Besides boycotting such selfish stateless multinationals, the best way for We the People to respond is by voting in politicians who will insist these corporate "people" pay same tax rates as real people according to their gross income, until this corporate personhood issue is resolved by Constitutional amendment.

Please boycott Walgreens until such a day that they make the right decision.

Walgreens is anticipated to soon announce—perhaps as early as this week—that it is completing a $16 billion acquisition of the European drugstore chain Alliance Boots.

With the deal, Walgreens will have an opportunity to complete a tax inversion, which would allow it to reduce its tax bill by a projected $4 billion over the next five years by listing the company's headquarters in Switzerland, where Alliance Boots is headquartered. The company said in June it would announce its decision on whether it will headquarter overseas by early August.

While the company's board of directors faces pressure from some shareholders to make the move, Walgreens also has faced mounting protest from Democratic lawmakers and activists to remain headquartered in the United States.

While you're at it, boycott any corporation that plays this inversion scam and in particular boycott Wall Street banks who are trying to expedite these scams before Congress fixes the loophole.
