Tom Steyer's group is hitting Tea Party Rep. Cory Gardner (R. CO) on everything:

NextGen Climate, led by billionaire environmental activist Tom Steyer, released a television advertisement Tuesday criticizing Rep. Cory Gardner’s (R-Colo.) positions on climate change and abortion rights.
It’s the first ad in the Colorado Senate race, in which Gardner is running to unseat Sen. Mark Udall (D-Colo.)
“He thinks he knows better than the scientists, NASA and the U.S. military on climate change,” the ad’s voiceover said, referring to Gardner’s belief that humans are not causing the climate to change, in contrast with major government agencies.
“He led an eight-year crusade that would outlaw birth control and make abortion a felony crime,” the ad says. Gardner supports legislation to define life as beginning at conception, which would outlaw abortion and could ban some forms of contraception.
The ad also hits Gardner’s opposition to same-sex marriage.
“As an elected official, Gardner has relentlessly tried to impose his extreme views to reduce or stop the funding of science research on climate change and to interfere on women’s health issues to the point where he would have made abortion a felony,” Abby Leeper, a spokeswoman for NextGen, said in a statement. - The Hill, 8/19/14

Udall’s campaign has sought to focus largely on Gardner’s past support for personhood and the incongruity of his current stance: Gardner came out in February in opposition to the Colorado personhood initiative but remains listed as a co-sponsor of the federal Life Begins at Conception Act that is tantamount to personhood.
Steyer is looking to leverage his wealth to affect political change that will lead to action combating climate change; but he’s not limiting his attack lines to that issue.
“As an elected official, Gardner has relentlessly tried to impose his extreme views to reduce or stop the funding of science research on climate change and to interfere on women’s health issues to the point where he would have made abortion a felony,” said Abby Leeper, spokesperson for NextGen Climate Colorado.
“And now he wants to ‘shake up the Senate’ with his harmful Gardner-knows-best attitude. Congressman Gardner’s voting record is outside the mainstream in Colorado, and NextGen Climate will continue to point that out through the election.”
Last Tuesday at a renewable energy conference in Aspen, Steyer said that his focus is on turning out the voters who will help the Democratic candidates he supports more than it is on persuading undecided voters. - KDVR, 8/19/14
Udall has been doing an excellent job on hitting Gardner on his support for Personhood Amendments and opposing marriage equality and these are just two of the issues that could hurt Gardner. Lately Udall has been focusing on reminding voters about his record on delivering for Colorado:

In the latest TV ad from Colorado Sen. Mark Udall, the mayor of Jamestown credits the Democratic senator for coming to her community’s aid after last fall’s catastrophic floods.
Jamestown Mayor Tara Schoedinger speaks — fighting back tears, at one point — about her community’s efforts to rebuild.
“Many times we heard ‘why even bother rebuilding Jamestown’ because we are so small, but for us it’s our home — it’s our community,” she says in the ad.
“Mark Udall came up as if he were a member of our community. Made sure that we didn’t get forgotten, made sure that we had the support that we need in order to rebuild our community and bring our community members home.” - KDVR, 8/1314
