Received this e-mail today from Senator Sherrod Brown (D. OH) in support of his colleagues, Senators Mark Begich (D. AK), Mark Pryor (D. AR), Mark Udall (D. CO), Mary Landrieu (D. LA) and Kay Hagan (D. NC):
I faced $40 million in outside spending in 2012. These five Democrats are facing more than twice that amount -- $95 million and counting.
Any one of these five Democrats -- Mark Begich, Mary Landrieu, Mark Pryor, Mark Udall, and Kay Hagan -- could be the key to holding our majority.
Republicans will gain control of the Senate if they pick up six seats in November. Today, I’m joining with my colleagues to support a moneybomb for five Democrats who are facing some seriously tough fights. Click here to join me.

These races are the closest in the country. Despite the fact that all five of these Senators are good, hard-working public servants, they’re also the most vulnerable members of our Senate majority.
Mark Begich is fighting off Karl Rove and the Kochs in the most expensive race in Alaska history. Kay Hagan’s been the target of $35 million in outside spending -- and that number could go higher before election day.
Mark Pryor’s up against a Tea Partier who hung Arkansas farmers out to dry, Mark Udall’s facing a Tea Partier who sponsored an anti-choice “personhood” law, and Mary Landrieu is taking on a Republican who has already voted to cut seniors’ Social Security benefits to pay for millionaires’ tax breaks.
These Democrats are fighting the good fight, and they could use a grassroots boost. Give $5, $10, or whatever you can afford, and help Democrats win in November.

Thank you.
Sherrod
There are several reasons we have to hold onto the U.S. Senate but one of the most important reasons is because Sen. Brown is next in line to chair the Senate Banking Committee. Brown is a strong supporter of breaking up the banks and hold Wall Street accountable. So please do click here to donate to Begich, Pryor, Udall, Landrieu and Hagan's campaigns:
