It happens a lot, you know.
Republicans ARE totally committed to ruining our way of life and usually every last thing they do is about that.
So my sentiment is just rhetorical and I haven't been remotely too harsh on them. They are utterly mean-spirited and filled with dangerous wackiness.
This....this right here is still pretty bizarre even for a republican:
NO glow-in-the-dark human-jellyfish hybrids! on his watch!
Got it?
“We in Georgia are taking the lead on this issue,” the website states. “Human life at all stages is precious including as an embryo. We need to get out in front of the science and technology, before it becomes something no one wants. “The mixing of Human Embryos with Jellyfish cells to create a glow in the dark human, we say not in Georgia. “This bill is about protecting Human life while maintaining good, valid research that does not destroy life.”
This is where utter ignorance meets sheer insanity.
is this a thing?
Well, yeah, I suppose it is. The article mention historical research in which pigs and mice have been made to glow in the dark by injecting or fuisng them with jellyfish....stuff.
What do you see when you turn out the light
I can't tell you but I know it's swine...
So we have us here a Georgia Republican - not that bright of a critter on the best of days - all in a tizzy about people trying to make glow in the dark people because he heard of some studies where people made things glow.
A Democrat comes to the aid of sanity:
state Sen. Vincent Fort (D) expressed skepticism.
“I didn’t know that was a problem. I’m really kind of taken back,” Fort said to WSB. “It invokes a chuckle, but at the same time, it’s a waste of precious time, when we could be dealing with issues like transportation, education and jobs.”
Repubs waste time and money.
Dog bites man.
Bah.
Pig glows in the dark: NOW we're talkin some news!
