It's that time again..... my sixth annual meet-up by the lake ;-)
The details:
A meet-up at The Point (my family's summer cottage in the western hills of Maine), this time on Saturday, June 27, noon to 6:00 p.m. (approximately......very approximately) in western Maine (about a scenic hour-long drive northwest from Portland, and maybe three hours from the Boston metro area).
Same deal as other years:
I’ll gladly cook and have beer and assorted non-alcoholic beverages.
Just a little food:
Lake should be warm enough for fun if anyone wants. We have a canoe, a kayak, and plenty of rocks to swim to (and to scrape knees on....).
Dogs (well-behaved....) welcome, but Hobbs and Penn prefer to be the only kitties ;-)
Hobbs and the late Molly, faithful companion to Bill in Portland Maine and Common Sense Mainer:
Pictures to entice anyone debating joining us are here.
Can't promise the weather will be like this (it is Maine, after all...), but it is more than possible:
If anyone wants to spend Friday and/or Saturday night (for fun, or because it's a long drive.....), I've got room for several, plus some tenting space. For more information/exact directions or to RSVP, email me at killearnan at gmail.com or send a Kosmail.
Hobbs enjoying the kiddie pool ;-)
Please ~ do me a favor and RSVP ;-) There's a fair bit of space for people but the largest number of cars I've managed is 10 (9 plus mine), so if we are getting close to that, I need to make arrangements with the neighbors to park a few cars elsewhere.
