A man whose time was 1988, Joe Biden sees room for himself to the right of Hillary Clinton, promoting "bipartisanship," a policy that was a failure when tried at various times in the last seven years. President Obama has been at his best when he went it alone on executive orders instead of chasing the moving goal posts of Republicans for a deal.
For the second time this week, Biden portrayed himself as a pragmatist who's capable of working with Republicans, drawing a subtle contrast with party front-runner Clinton.
"I don't think my chief enemy is the Republican Party,'' Biden said during a panel discussion at an event honoring former Vice President Walter Mondale in Washington. By contrast, Clinton named "the Republicans'' as one of her greatest enemies when asked at the Oct. 13 Democratic candidate debate.

One of the better things Hillary said was that she was proud to have the Republicans as an enemy. And if Biden see Hillary as too tough on Republicans, just imagine what he will say about Bernie.
Anita Hill, Joe. Answer for that.
My order of preference:
Bernie.
Hillary
Martin O'Malley
Joe Biden.
It looks to me as if he will run, but I see no place for him.
How many Democrats want to roll over for Republicans? Raise your hands in the comments.
Biden dropped out after Iowa in 2008 for lack of support. I don't see much traction here. Bernie supporters are tied by sharing ideas with Bernie and few will change for Biden. Hillary is a stronger fighter than Biden, at least as liberal if not more, and would be the first woman president.
Why Biden? Do we need a man who shares positions on most issues with Hillary, but wants to be "bipartisan," making him worse?
Biden is no democratic socialist. If people are not ready for Bernie, Hillary seems to fit them. Biden is about personal ambition. That's not enough.
I was neutral on Biden, but now he is peddling bipartisanship with the Trumps and Gowdy's of the world, I say no fucking way.
