In their not-so-suitable-for-work video, two young women express their outrage over products that are marketed to women around the world with the message that girls are not good enough or “suitable” for today’s standards without products. There is a lot of “fuck” usage—in all the right places.
Here are some video transcript excerpts followed by the three-minute clip of Olivia Gatwood and Megan Falley in Button Poetry’s “Collapse the Economy.”
“Studies predict that if women stopped buying cosmetic products and services, every economy in the world would collapse overnight.”
“Does that shampoo also come with the Photoshop you used on the model? Then I don’t fucking want it.”
“How beautiful it will be to take the money I spend for you, make my hair soft for you, make my nails like candy for you, go under the knife for you, give myself skin cancer for you, and stop giving the $.76 back!”
Cheers to the strong, courageous, talented, and outspoken women of the future.
