America's Car Museum: Master Collectors (Photo Diary)

One of the recent exhibits in the LeMay—America’s Car Museum in Tacoma, Washington was a Master Collectors Hall of Fame. According to the museum:

“Lots of people have a classic car or two that they tinker with and enjoy. But Master Collectors’ objects of desire are of different order. These stunning, beautiful, and idiosyncratic machines can become an all-consuming passion, leading collectors to spend every free moment searching for that perfect addition to their collection.”

The display concludes:

“What unites all these cars is that they appeal to discerning tastes—to those who know the difference between a car worth collecting and one that is merely old.”
