While researching bringing water to desert regions, like how Israel is helping California build one of the Biggest plants in Western Hemisphere,
I found out that as Libyan President Gaddafi was very forward thinking on this subject as well.
It was Muammar Gaddafi`s dream to provide fresh water for all Libyans and to make Libya self-sufficient in food production.
Libyans called it the eighth wonder of the world.
I have always heard that Gaddafi was a tyrant. A dictator.
Related to terrorist actions, we’ve been told.
But something else was going on. Gaddafi was trying to transform Africa, and as appointed leader of the African Union, he had bold plans. One of these plans cost him his life, and the life of many others.
Gaddafi was planning the launch of a Pan-African currency called the Dinar made out of gold, which would replace Western Currency for trade in Africa, especially concerning Oil.
The United States, Britain and France, all had an interest in stopping this.
These countries used the freedom movements of the Arab Spring in Egypt and Tunisia to also appear to be happening in Libya.
But, if you research the backstory, Gaddafi was not being protested in the streets by his people, nor were there any killings.
What was the real reason to overthrow Gaddafi?

Hillary Emails Reveal True Motive for Libya Intervention
Newly disclosed emails show that Libya’s plan to create a gold-backed currency to compete with the euro and dollar was a motive for NATO’s intervention.
The New Year’s Eve release of over 3,000 new Hillary Clinton emails from the State Department has CNN abuzz over gossipy text messages, the “who gets to ride with Hillary” selection process set up by her staff, and how a “cute” Hillary photo fared on Facebook.
But historians of the 2011 NATO war in Libya will be sure to notice a few of the truly explosive confirmations contained in the new emails: admissions of rebel war crimes, special ops trainers inside Libya from nearly the start of protests, Al Qaeda embedded in the U.S. backed opposition, Western nations jockeying for access to Libyan oil, the nefarious origins of the absurd Viagra mass rape claim, and concern over Gaddafi’s gold and silver reserves threatening European currency.
It turns out our State department sent in Special Ops to train and arm rebels that were only successful because ‘NATO bombed Libya back to the Stone Age’
For the Majority of Libyans, living in their country, who weren’t particularly politically active, their quality of life was perfectly fine.
They had free education (up through College)
They had free Health (care)
They could study abroad
When they got Married, they were given a certain amount of money.
So they were rather the envy of many citizens of other African countries. (emphasis mine)
That last part is particularly important.
Because Gaddafi had a Pan-Africanist vision, including starting an
African Monetary Fund to rival the IMF and single currency to rival the Euro and the Dollar,
And,
he was also very tolerant compared to groups like Al-Qaeda.
For instance, unlike other Arab countries, women could travel without an escort, get an education and participate in their government.
More importantly, Gaddafi embraced Black Libyans living in his country, and visiting Black African workers in his country. There was no Arab / African divide such as in now separated Sudan.
So, now after Gaddafi is finally tracked down after relentless bombing, after the Rebels are propped up by our forces, he is caught and killed.
YAY Freedom, Right?
Wrong.
ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A BLACK LIBYAN OR VISITING BLACK AFRICAN WORKER.
There is, however, ample documentation by journalists, academics, and human rights groups demonstrating that black Libyan civilians and sub-Saharan contract workers, a population favored by Gaddafi in his pro-African Union policies, were targets of “racial cleansing” by rebels who saw black Libyans as tied closely with the regime.[1]
Black Libyans were commonly branded as “foreign mercenaries” by the rebel opposition for their perceived general loyalty to Gaddafi as a community and subjected to torture, executions, and their towns “liberated” by ethnic cleansing. This is demonstrated in the most well-documented example of Tawergha, an entire town of 30,000 black and “dark-skinned” Libyans which vanished by August 2011 after its takeover by NATO-backed NTC Misratan brigades. And the email?
A March 27, 2011, intelligence brief [archived here] on Libya, sent by long time close adviser to the Clintons and Hillary’s unofficial intelligence gatherer, Sidney Blumenthal, contains clear evidence of war crimes on the part of NATO-backed rebels. Citing a rebel commander source “speaking in strict confidence” Blumenthal reports to Hillary [emphasis mine]:
Under attack from allied Air and Naval forces, the Libyan Army troops have begun to desert to the rebel side in increasing numbers. The rebels are making an effort to greet these troops as fellow Libyans, in an effort to encourage additional defections.
(Source Comment: Speaking in strict confidence, one rebel commander stated that his troops continue to summarily execute all foreign mercenaries captured in the fighting…).
The mercenaries were identifying Black Libyans as ‘foreign mercenaries’ and committing Genocide.
The image of the top of this story, is a screen shot of this video of black Libyans being rounded up and being forced to eat the Libyan flag.
Genocide was occurring.
Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State received emails about it.
We did nothing to stop it, and we helped to start it.
And there were calls for peace from Gaddafi and his son before his killing:
Rep. Dennis Kucinich wrote a letter to Clinton and Obama in August 2011, warning against the war. “I have been contacted by an intermediary in Libya who has indicated that President Muammar Gadhafi is willing to negotiate an end to the conflict under conditions which would seem to favor Administration policy,” the Democratic lawmaker said. His plea was ignored.
A Pentagon intelligence official told Seif Qaddafi that his messages were falling on deaf ears. “Everything I am getting from the State Department is that they do not care about being part of this,” he explained.
“Secretary Clinton does not want to negotiate at all,” the U.S. intelligence official added.
Now ISIS is moving from Syria to Libya and we have lost control of the region.
But hey, France, the US and other Western allies don’t have to worry about Pan-African Currency or a rival to the International Monetary Fund.
And no longer does Libya have a sustainable agricultural base from Gaddafi’s Water in the desert plan.
And before you attack Gaddafi,
He was picked by the African Union to be it’s leader because he wanted to start the United States of Africa, based on the model of the United States of America.
Maybe that’s why Nelson Mandela considered him a friend.
Either way, in all of the searching by the Republicans,
their attempt to make Benghazi a scandal, it is not the scandal. That was less than 10 Americans.
I have just given you the documented evidence of at least 30,000 Black Libyans Ethnically cleansed by Rebels the United States illegally armed and helped through a NATO bombing campaign.
Unlike the Extra Judicial murder of Osama Bin Laden, Gaddafi was not hidden within another country, he was the leader of Libya, dictator or not, he was a stable force.
One of the actions of the Special Ops was to release prisoners in Libya. Some 600 Al Qaeda radicals had been kept in prison by the Libyan government. They were freed to join in the Rebel uprising. Now, Al Qaeda and even worse, ISIS has been unleashed in the area. Gaddafi warns of the consequences of this action.
Much like Bush and Cheney’s overthrow of Saddam Hussein, they could not predict the outcomes of destabilizing a region.
And the evidence to overthrow him was made on false charges, just like the WMD’s with Hussein.
On February 21, when the first alarmist “warnings” about “genocide” were being made by the Libyan opposition, both Al Jazeera and the BBC claimed that Gaddafi had deployed his air force against protesters—as the BBC “reported”: “Witnesses say warplanes have fired on protesters in the city”. Yet, on March 1, in a Pentagon press conference, when asked: “Do you see any evidence that he [Gaddafi] actually has fired on his own people from the air? There were reports of it, but do you have independent confirmation? If so, to what extent?” U.S. Secretary of Defense Robert Gates replied, “We’ve seen the press reports, but we have no confirmation of that”. Backing him up was Admiral Mullen: “That’s correct. We’ve seen no confirmation whatsoever”.
In fact, claims that Gaddafi also used helicopters against unarmed protesters are totally unfounded, a pure fabrication based on fake claims. This is important since it was Gaddafi’s domination of Libyan air space that foreign interventionists wanted to nullify, and therefore myths of atrocities perpetrated from the air took on added value as providing an entry point for foreign military intervention that went far beyond any mandate to “protect civilians”.
And after the country was ‘bombed into the Stone Age’, how did that Regime change work out?
JO BECKER: But the new Western-backed government proved incapable of uniting Libya. And in the end, the strongman’s death led to chaos. When four Americans were killed by terrorists in Benghazi in 2012, it revealed just how bad things had gotten. Colonel Gaddafi’s huge arsenal of weapons has shown up in the hands of terrorists in places like Gaza, Syria, Nigeria and Mali. Hundreds of thousands of migrants have fled through Libya on boats. Many have drowned. And the power vacuum has allowed ISIS to build its most dangerous outpost on the Libyan coast. (emphasis mine)
Today, just 300 miles from Europe, Libya is a failed state. Meanwhile, back at home, Mrs. Clinton has struggled to defend the decision to intervene.

At this point, Hillary laughs.
IF you are not sufficiently angry, I suggest you search videos of the bombing campaign NATO conducted and see how many children were killed or are lying on operating tables crying.
Destabilizing the region has led to mass refugee migration from the area, in Syria and Libya as well as other North African countries.

This is not about a Presidential campaign, although that may be your take, it is about the United States’ role in helping foster the Genocide of Black Libyans and Africans just to stop a new form of African currency.
