An organization called “American Federation for Children” is literally paying people to sign on as supporters of Betsy DeVos.
Swagbucks is a website where users can earn a few points called Swagbucks or SB (equivalent to about a penny each) by completing activities like watching videos with ads, shopping through their portal, or signing up for free or paid offers. One of the offer walls on Swagbucks (RadiumOne) currently has two offers in which a person can earn Swagbucks (either 16 or 14 Swagbucks) by signing on as a supporter of DeVos.
(Disclaimer: I clicked both offers on Sunday night, and they ended up leading to unrelated sites. This is a known bug on Swagbucks and so likely nothing nefarious.)
I did a little bit of searching to ascertain who might be behind the offers. Googling one of the phrases in the second ad led me to the site SupportDevos.com. At the bottom of that site, it says, “Paid for by American Federation for Children.”
More Googling led me to that organization’s site, and to their "Leadership" list.
I will leave it to folks here to research and report on the organization (a so-called “school choice” group) and the people on the leadership list. I just found it quite interesting that this organization is literally paying people to support DeVos. I signed up here at DailyKos specifically to let folks know about it per a suggestion from a friend who runs a local progressive blog.

Update: a Reddit user spotted another offer on the same site, this time offering 40 Swagbucks (about 40 cents) via the offer wall TrialPay. A commenter at Reddit said that he took the offer and deleted the text before he sent it in and replaced it with “I was paid to sign this petition.”
