Presidential elections are not about one person, or even one party. They are about furthering the positive values we share in a country we love and care about. They are about electing the person who represents the best in all of us and celebrates our differences and never mocks them. It is about showing the world that everyone in our country is as worthy of respect and dignity as everyone else regardless of who they are, and when their basic rights are violated, in any way, all of our rights are in doubt. It is about standing up for those who are unable to do so for themselves.
This was President Barack Obama, in every way. This is what I saw in Hillary Clinton.
I see Donald Trump as a circus clown parading in the Oval Office, totally unfit to serve as any official, let alone the President, only interested in being the big story of the day on the news.
He has already made a mockery of the office and is unaware of the difference between truth and fiction. It is not possible to take anything he says on face value.
Every word he utters must be fact checked. He is a ruthless and unscrupulous robber baron in an empty suit. He will exploit or corrupt anything, or anyone he needs to in order to get what he wants.
Such men are not fit to be public servants. They are never fit to be President.
