The New York Times has a breakdown of “How Each Senator Voted on Trump’s Cabinet Nominees”.
These are the 14 “Fightin’ Dems” [sic] that have rolled over and submitted to Trump. The Times notes that “no” are “essentially… symbolic statements of opposition.”
Please note that Sen. Kaine, the losing Democratic vice presidential candidate, is supporting Team Trump. Sen. Gillibrand voted to confirm Gov. Nikki Haley to be to be the U.S. Representative to the United Nations. Sen. Sanders voted for Haley and Gen. James Mattis as Secretary of Defense. As an aside, I think Sen. Klobuchar just kissed goodbye her presidential ambitions.
What the hell is wrong with the Democratic senators that they cannot even make a “symbolic” stand?
