Received this e-mail today from Governor Tom Wolf’s (D. PA) re-election campaign:
A total of 176,000 children are enrolled in Pennsylvania's Children's Health Insurance Program.
That's 176,000 children whose families go to bed a little easier at night knowing that they can get their child the medical care they need without the fear that they couldn't afford it.
That's what Governor Tom Wolf is fighting to protect in the Keystone State, and he needs your help: If Congress doesn't act immediately and reauthorize funding for CHIP after they let it expire last month, the 176,000 Pennsylvania kids currently enrolled will lose their health coverage.
Tom wrote an urgent letter to the Pennsylvania delegation, but he needs you to add your voice and make sure we get this message loud and clear to Congress -- share this post on Facebook or Twitter and call on your representatives to reauthorize CHIP:
A healthy community is the cornerstone of a thriving middle class, and keeping our kids covered means protecting our future.
Help Tom protect the gains we've made instead of letting Congress turn the clock back on coverage -- share this graphic on Facebook or Twitter today.
Thanks,
Olivia

PS -- under Tom's leadership, more than 715,000 Pennsylvanians have gained health insurance from expanded Medicaid and PA's uninsured rate is at an all-time low. Will you chip in $5 or more to help us keep fighting?
