This is why the country can't have anything nice.
One-third of American adults believe that President Trump has successfully repealed Obamacare, a new poll from the Economist and YouGov finds.
The poll of 1,000 adults shows that 31 percent believe Trump has repealed the Affordable Care Act, 49 percent say he hasn’t, and 21 percent are unsure.
Of those who identify as Republican voters, 44 percent say that Trump has repealed Obamacare.
It’d be interesting to see what percentage of the Republican House caucus believes that. Actually, scratch that. The results would probably just be too depressing.
At least a plurality—who aren't primarily Republicans—have a grasp on reality. Because no matter what the big orange lump tweets, no, Obamacare is not repealed. All the really good stuff, the stuff that Republicans say they want to keep but aren't smart enough to figure out a way to do it and repeal the law at the same time, that's all still with us.
And taking it away will mean hell to pay. Except with the third of Americans who persist in remaining brainwashed by Fox News. Like their president.
