Five days ago the WSJ reported that in October of 2016 Michael Cohen paid adult actress Stephanie Clifford (aka Stormy Daniels) $130,000 in hush money to deny having an affair with Trump in 2006 following a Celebrity Golf Tournament.
And then today it’s reported that Clifford had already given an interview confirming the Affair to In Touch Weekly back in 2011 — and also the Today Show — and that these reports were going to come out during the election but Clifford backed out at the last minute.
While Stormy adamantly denied that anything happened in a letter released by Trump's lawyer on Jan. 10, In Touch has an explosive first-person interview with the adult entertainer that was conducted in 2011, in which she details her affair with the then-star of NBC’s The Apprentice.
In the new issue of In Touch, on newsstands today, Stormy (given name: Stephanie Clifford) confirms in her own words that she had sex with Donald Trump in his Lake Tahoe, NV, hotel suite in 2006 — a story that was corroborated to In Touch in 2011 by her good friend Randy Spears and supported by her ex-husband Mike Moz. Stormy also took and passed a polygraph test at the time of the interview.
So even though this was originally scheduled to be reported in October of 2016, it suddenly wasn't. Fox News was going to cover it and they had an on-the-record confirmation about the affair from Clifford’s manager Gina Rodriguez, but then they didn’t. But sure, nobody got a pay off.
And there’s more.
Now I really, seriously, don’t care who Trump choses to sleep with and how, and there’s no allegation here of harassment or a lack of consent — but at the same time the hypocrisy and lies here are like, wow.
Because for one thing, Daniels has witnesses including her close friend Alana Evans.
According to fellow porn star Alana Evans—who was not only Daniels’ neighbor and close friend at the time, but also happened to be staying in the area—Daniels confided in her that she and Trump were more than just friends.
“It was the second day of our trip, we were in a hotel with a tattoo parlor, and the hotel had huge windows so you could see people outside. When I saw Stormy, I was like WTF? I opened the door, called out to her, and she joined me while [my colleague] got a tattoo,” recalls Evans. “Stormy said she met Donald Trump and then tells me about the golf tournament and how she’s supposed to hang out with him later that night, and she invited me. Stormy said Donald knew exactly who she was and wanted to meet her.”
Later that evening after returning to her hotel room, Evans said Daniels kept calling, asking her to come join the party. But Evans wasn’t interested and made up reasons not to go.
“Stormy calls me four or five times, by the last two phone calls she’s with Donald [Trump] and I can hear him, and he’s talking through the phone to me saying, ‘Oh come on Alana, let’s have some fun! Let’s have some fun! Come to the party, we’re waiting for you.’ And I was like, ‘OMG it’s Donald Trump!’ Men like him scare me because they have so much power and this was way before his presidential nomination. So I bailed on them and turned my phone off.”
This would have been just one year after he married Melania, while she was pregnant with Baron, and the same year that the Access Hollywood video was recorded.
Trump’s long time personal attorney Michael Cohen had denied the payment and says Clifford denies it too — which of course is the point of the pay off isn’t it? — but he didn’t provide any contact info for her. He also produces a document signed by Daniels denying the affair, except that it’s literally signed “Stormy Daniels” and as a binding legal document it should have been sign Stephanie Clifford because that’s her actual name. So that’s not worth the paper it’s printed on, meanwhile In Touch Weekly has all this.
It all started at the American Century celebrity golf tournament in July 2006. “[Trump] was introduced to everybody. He kept looking at me and then we ended up riding to another hole on the same golf cart together,” Stormy recalled, adding that the business mogul later came to the gift lounge her adult-film company, Wicked Pictures, sponsored and asked for her number, which she gave him, before they posed for a photo together.
“Then he asked me if I wanted to have dinner that night. And I was like, ‘Yeah, of course!’” she told In Touch. Stormy, dressed up to go out on the town, arrived at Trump’s hotel room, where she says she was greeted by a bodyguard named Keith, who let her inside. Stormy claims Trump was sprawled on the couch watching TV, wearing pajama pants. “We ended up having dinner in the room,” she revealed to In Touch.
At one point, Stormy told In Touch, she excused herself to go to the bathroom. “When I came out, he was sitting on the bed and he was like, ‘Come here.’ And I was like, ‘Ugh, here we go.’ And we started kissing.” After having sex, Stormy said, “We hung out for a little while and he just kept saying, ‘I’m gonna call you, I’m gonna call you. I have to see you again. You’re amazing. We have to get you on The Apprentice.’”
I highlight the bit with Keith because we’ve heard of him before. Remember when there were allegations that Trump had a little “pee party” in Moscow with a set of five prostitutes and everyone said that was ridiculous? Well, one person who was there was Keith Schiller and what he said was very interesting.
WASHINGTON — After a business meeting before the Miss Universe Pageant in 2013, a Russian participant offered to "send five women" to Donald Trump's hotel room in Moscow, his longtime bodyguard told Congress this week, according to three sources who were present for the interview.
Two of the sources said the bodyguard, Keith Schiller, viewed the offer as a joke, and immediately responded, "We don't do that type of stuff.”
Really? You don’t? Stormy Daniels seems to think that you do, and she should know.
Schiller has said that the dossier allegations were “Bullshit” but then again, it turns out that he wasn’t there all night long and actually can’t confirm that they didn't try to come back after he departed.
One source noted that Schiller testified he eventually left Trump's hotel room door and could not say for sure what happened during the remainder of the night.
But instead all we’ve gotten are denials. And these aren’t the only cases as noted by the Daily Beast.
Daniels’ story would have come on the heels of the porn star Jessica Drake coming forward in late October 2016 to accuse Trump of kissing her without consent and offering her $10,000 in exchange for sex in 2006. Then, on Nov. 4, 2016, the Journal unearthed documents revealing that the Trump-friendly rag National Enquirer had shelled out $150,000 to Playboy centerfold Karen McDougal for a tell-all about her alleged 10-month affair with The Donald from 2006 to 2007. They never ran the piece.
There is a pattern here people. A trail if you will…
And it doesn’t lead anywhere pleasant.
