Surprised no one’s mentioned this, but a day may be on the horizon that is long overdue. One of the deplorables who is responsible for promoting Pizzagate may be about to face the music in court.
On December 30, Liz Crokin, one of many right-wing pseudojournalists obsessed with finding pedophiles under every rock, culled several pictures of Chrissy Teigen and John Legend’s daughter dressed in Halloween costumes. She tweeted them to her followers and suggested that the pictures, as well as emojis Teigen used, were evidence that Teigen and Legend were part and parcel of Pizzagate. Crokin is of the mind that all of Trump’s loudest critics are either pedophiles or at least covering up for pedophiles.
Well, someone tipped off Teigen about this, and she was not happy.
Teigen was equally alarmed that Crokin was a “verified” Twitter user with over 50,000 followers.
Crokin tried to oblige—but only managed to pour gasoline on the fire.
But Crokin was in for a big surprise. Teigen fought back—hard. First, she complained to Twitter, who yanked Crokin’s checkmark.
She then warned Crokin that she was staring down the barrel of a lawsuit.
Legend then swooped in to back up his wife.
And just in case Crokin didn’t understand how big a hole she was now in, Teigen reminded her.
Crokin tried to dig back out.
It didn’t work.
On the face of it, Teigen and Legend could really draw blood. Those tweets from Crokin appear to be the definition of reckless disregard for the truth.
Frankly, it’s way past time that someone took one of those bottom-feeders to court. If anyone deserves to be sued into poverty, it’s these Pizzagate bastards.
