Received this e-mail today from the Council for a Livable World:
One of the most critical deadlines of the election cycle, the first FEC quarterly fundraising deadline of 2018, is just 10 days away. Right now is the perfect opportunity to send a signal to our endorsed candidates that we have their backs — now and through November.
There are four House seats in particular I'd like to point out today. These are four seats currently held by hawks that I'm confident we have a shot at winning.
Local and national political observers are watching, and we need to help our candidates prove their competitiveness for November. Will you support our candidates before the deadline and help them win these crucial races?
Jason Crow (D-CO-06) is an Army veteran who has been an outspoken supporter of progressive national security policies since leaving the military. He's running against incumbent Rep. Mike Coffman (R), and the race is seen as extremely competitive.
Josh Harder (D-CA-10) is a businessman with strong feelings about the importance of diplomacy. He's running against incumbent Rep. Jeff Denham (R), and the race is seen as extremely competitive.
Chrissy Houlahan (D-PA-06) is a former Air Force captain with a history of public service. She's running against incumbent Rep. Ryan Costello (R), and even before mandated redistricting, the race was seen as extremely competitive.
Ann Kirkpatrick (D-AZ-02) is a three-term representative with a history of supporting progressive national security issues. She's currently running for an open seat, and is seen as the favorite.
Will you help us send these candidates to the House? We can help propel them forward with strong fundraising numbers by the deadline. Please consider donating to one or all of these candidates.
Thank you for your continued support.
Sincerely,
John Tierney
