This might have alrready been suggested, and I apologise if it is a repeat.
There are no guarantees in elections and the party that opposes women’s rights may win and abortion and birth control and such might be well and truly in the sights. You should be planning for that occurance.
Since the laws proposed would curtail women’s rights exclusively, what about the fathers? Are they not equally to blame and deserve to be responsible as well? With DNA testing we can determine the fathers and add the power of law to make them subsidise the life of their progeny for some twenty years. If they have more than one, then they should support both, on a monthly basis, until the child reaches the age of majority.
Of course if this comes to pass, doctors and police, at least, will be required to take the DNA of every male that comes into their purview. That is quite a repressive act, I know, but why should just the women be repressed?
It would not be too difficult to assemble a national database of children whose father has not been identified and to do a screening of new DNA offerings.
Since philandering tends to be a serial habit, that should keep many men running scared. Male university students might want to think twice about their actions. The women certainly will have to.
Of course a name and shame system should be available. No chance of hiding or paying off the poor mother.
I know this is draconian, but sometimes I believe it takes draconian actions to solve a problem. I think it is Sweden where if you are caught driving under the inflence you lose your right to drive forever, your vehicle, and all in it, is seized, any adults riding in the car are also charged and if you have left a party or a bar, they too are charged with letting you leave and drive. I think it was three years in prison for the driver. There, they take drunk driving seriously, but more importantly, so does the population of the country.
If you are having a problem with Holigans assaulting old ladies, the solution is not to restrict the old ladies.
