Matthews on "Hardball": CA Dems "party of same old crap"

Didn't get the entire context, as I was channel-surfing ("Hardball" rarely compelling viewing), but just at the tail end of the show, and a discussion with Democrat Steve McMahon and Republican Sheri Annis (a former employee of the Governator), Ms. Annis was b.s.ing about how the students at Santa Monica College weren't really protesting Arnie, it was just the professors, which we know ain't true.

In the last few seconds, Matthews said we all know that California Democrats are "the party of the same old crap," who "raise money from pressure groups."

I know, I know, no big surprise there, but just in case anybody wasn't convinced Matthews is nothing but a GOP shill (I must admit I wasn't quite--just thought he was a jerk with conservative leanings), that really oughta settle it.
