Washington state GOP sees gay-bashing as election boon.

A few WA residents here have said that Eastern Washington is extremist, so I guess this endorsement of the "we hate homos" amendment was for them. It's almost funny that they don't want to tackle God in schools but they have no problem spreading fear and hate about gays. It isn't funny that the LCR are so blase about this; that's just plain sad.

Since they're so unified and WA Democrats are more split due to the ugly primary for governor, do you think they will make gains in November? If they do, will they take this to mean that all they have to do is gay-bash to win elections in Washington?
