Did you expect more bad news on torture?

If so, you were right and CNN has some now.  They're following a WaPo story of more 'severe torture' in Iraqi jails.  From CNN.com:

Inspectors found "a number of problems" at a jail housing Iraqi detainees, the nation's Human Rights Ministry said today, amid a report of a dozen incidents of "severe torture" at the facility. Today's Washington Post quoted an Iraqi official saying at least 12 of the detainees had suffered severe torture. "Two of them showed me their nails, and they were gone," said an anonymous Iraqi official quoted by the Post.

Their fingernails were gone?

I feel that we are getting saddled with such a huge debt and I don't think there's anyway to pay it off.

Is there any way to put a heavy black border around news in a diary?  I'd like at least to express grief!
