Below is a letter I am sending to Senator John Edwards requesting he declare voting for the Iraq War was wrong.

I'm still in the Dean camp, but I like Edwards. However, the Democratic Party needs to challenge Bush on the Iraq War. All the evidence supporting the war has been debunked. It would be too weird for the opposition party to nominate someone that still supported the war.

Dear Senator Edwards,

Before I can support you for President of the United States in the Illinois primary or in the general election, I need to hear you say:

"Had I known then what I know now, I would not have voted to authorize President Bush to go to war in Iraq."

I'm pretty sure this is how you feel so it shouldn't be a big deal to say it. However, not saying it is a big deal to me.
