What are the major events might change the election?

It's a field day for G.W. Bush, no doubt about it.
But the question is: How soon will this news cycle end? Will Bush get any boost in his poll number?

Nothing is certain. However, it's interesting that Bush's number has not been lifted  after the media buzz of his Thanksgiving visit. Will history repeat itself?

The election will probably be decided by some dramatic events over the next 11 months, I predict the following potential shock-and-awe events might change the dynamics of the election.

1. Bin Laden be captured close to the election night.
2. Another major international crisis(North Korea, Taiwan Strait conflict)
3. Another major terrorist attack
4. The Collapse of U.S. dollar, devastating blow to the U.S. financial market

I would pick the collapse of U.S. dollar as the most likely scenario. Nobody is paying attention to this, but the mounting deficit may well plant the seed for this to happen.
