Somebody slap me, I actually like Lieberman

The Washington Post is serving up their unique version of online interviews to all the Democratic candidates throughout this week. I just read Lieberman's transcript, and what can I say? I think I actually like the guy.

Although Lieberman drastically mischaracterized Howard Dean with his 'political wilderness' comments, and excessively drilled into Wesley Clark during the debates, you have to give him credit for being direct. I was really impressed by the McCain-Lieberman Global Warming Bill, which unfortunately failed to pass in the Senate, and the editorial about the bill that Lieberman wrote for the Wall Street Journal. I'm still not convinced that I should vote for him in the primary, but if he is the nominee, I am now officially declaring my nose will not be pinched.
