As I look across the political spectrum of potential candidates for the Democratic nomination in 2008, Hillary Clinton keeps getting attention. I would like to ask a bold and in some peoples opinion a difficult question. Why Hillary?
I voted for Bill Clinton in each of his presidential races. I was and still am proud of his service to our country. I was not distracted by the attempt to discredit his service by the republicans in congress. But I would like to know in no uncertain terms why is Hillary Clinton the right person to be put in the position as candidate for president.
I respect what she has done in the Senate, but I have yet to see anyone give a reasoned, well thought out discussion on how she could be an electable candidate. So it is with this suggestion and this forum I would like to have anyone with an opinion either way to discuss how she would make an effective candidate for president.
