Krugman:"Why Did I [Debate O'Reilly]?"

To sell books, to say I did it.  Good answer.  Seriously.

You know what I like about that, Krugman realizes no real good came from this, and I'm pretty sure he won't do something like that again.

Krugman is God.  He's a little bit more aware than some folks here (I'm talking about you DHinMi) give him credit for.
