Democrat In Bernie Only
I left the party in 2016 after they rooked him to help the Green Party in PA. I am proud of my vote for Jill Stein. I will never vote for anyone who voted for the Iraq War.
I returned to the Democrats the day Bernie announced his 2020 run.
If Bernie does not get the nomination in favor of a pre-bought DNC Hack it means the Democrats values are too far away from my values.
Example:
4 DNC candidates made appearances at Netroots Nation a few weeks ago. There was a hospital closing literally 3 blocks away from the 4 day Blue No Matter Who festival.
For weeks the staff and patients at the hospital have been picketing and protesting the closure of the facility.
Did ANY of these candidates show up to help the unions make their case? Did any of them reach out to an incredible softball of a political issue?
NOPE.
Nina Turner closed traffic on Broad Street on the first day of Netroots. The first non-Mummer to do so since the Eagles won the Super Bowl. She walked the picket lines.
Bernie had an even bigger rally the day after the Netroots Nation left town. It was the day he announced that he would push for a fund to prevent hospitals serving at risk people from closing. This is a part of his Medicare for All plan. (I am the guy in the green shirt and glasses in the left corner of the picture.)
So Democrats like Elizabeth Warren had a chance to shine with people in the street and she deferred.
Bernie grabbed the opportunity to help people in their struggles.
That is an easy part of why, if Bernie is not the nominee, I will again wave to you from a third party as Democrats go 0 for 2 against Trump.
None of the DNC approved candidates have the cred to beat Trump in his Red State Fortress. Therefore helping a morally decaying Democratic Party is a waste of time and efforts are better spent with another group.
Not Trump Is Not Enough.
