With the Iranian elections, and the world's reliance on Twitter for information on what's happening there, what is the future of news?
There will no longer be any traditional corporate news organizations. It will all be Community News Organizations, and users will have many delivery options, including TV stations and publications.
Gradually, you will see a better mix of mainstream and new media, with news organizations being commingled, or even run, by the interactive division. Reporters will be free to report as they wish, and the more traditional channels will rely on entertainm
MSM will see the error of their ways, grow a pair, report actual news, and the renewed credibility will cause a backlash against non-traditional news.
MSM outlets will buy all the social networking sites and eliminate the competition
Nothing will change. CNN and others will continue to beg viewers to "e-mail us, find us on Twitter, friend us on Facebook", but still fail to understand the power of the community.
