This is my first diary in many years. I want to thank a poster at TPM, who gave me the idea for this diary. I hope it will be of some use and also help to calm some nerves.
I found information on the National Council of State Legislators (NCSL) website useful as it tabulates when the mail/absentee ballot counting can begin and when it can be reported. Some of the information is comforting as it suggest we should know the results on election night itself, thus dampening the orangeturds attempts to delay/distract/destroy the process.

Second, I have collated the states with close races as of today, 09/30/20 from the fivethirtyeight site and create the information below for a quick summary. ( I wish I could add colored font to clearly show the blue vs red)
