The Common Market and the European Union have had 65 years to build their utopia. That’s long enough. The policies of “Free Trade” and no barriers to movement of money, goods, and services (workers) have undercut the working classes of all European countries leading to high unemployment, failing institutions, and a race to the bottom of member countries. The 2008 banking disaster was a convenient cover story for the failures of this noble experiment whose only success was the concentration of wealth in the hands of the 1%.

Sound familiar?

The “Free Trade” policies of the US are our version of the EU. NAFTA — 1 million US manufacturing jobs lost.

As of January 1, 2015, the United States has 14 FTAs in force with 20 countries. The United States is negotiating a regional FTA, the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), with Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Canada, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore and Vietnam. The United States and the European Union launched negotiations on the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (T-TIP) in June 2013.

How is this helping the US?

I am a protectionist. The greatest economic expansions in US history occurred with the help of import duties and anti-dumping policies. Economic warfare is always on the horizon. Submission to a level playing field is reduction to the lowest common denominator. Say goodbye to human rights, wage fairness, workplace safety and healthy environment and say hello to entropic collapse.

We hear about Globalization every day. We are mesmerized into willing submission by the corporate, government and media indoctrination of the wonderful future we will share in the "New World Order", as proposed by George H. W. Bush.

There are practically no voices railing against this tyranny. Whoever speaks up is shouted down by the crowd as a Protectionist.

I ran a story on GM in November 2008. I also posted a poll. 57% of those polled had their heads up their keisters. You people need to come to grips with reality. Whatever it takes, open your eyes.

Now that Chrysler is bankrupt, GM is dropping Pontiac, shutting down 17 American plants while firing 20,000 auto workers, and dropping 1100 dealerships with layoffs of 100,000, how would you answer the same poll?

As anticipated, Thursday's Senate "amnesty" hearing was heavily stacked with Open Borders enthusiasts. Alan Greenspan, the man who brought you world-wide economic collapse, favors illegals and more H-1B visas.

"The fact that we are growing at all during the worst recession in two generations reflects our strong business fundamentals and is a testament to your hard work. "

"we will eliminate up to 5,000 positions...of which 1,400 will occur today."

Ballmer is saying M$ is making profits, thanks to the employees, but less than expected. Oh, and you're fired. And 1,400 of you can go straight to the parking lot. Now. Goodbye.

Only Gates can beat this audacity. I wonder if the H-1Bs will stay.
