I don't have a lot of energy to type right now, I went to work this a.m., went to protest and march, had to go back to work and being a mom, still had mom things to do when I got home. That being said, I took some pictures and videos today of Portland, although there are many photos out there on OregonLive.com, but this is what I saw while I was there.
Older people, younger people, middle aged people, kids and babies. Rich people, poor people, middle class people. Well dressed people, professionals, hippies, lawyers, teachers, old hippies, young hippies.
Teenagers, clean cut and dred-locked.
Smart people, dumb people.
Nice cops on bikes, nice cops on horses, I honestly didn't see any a*&^ cops. They were all very kind, respectful, friendly and there to help, not to hinder or break things up.
Lots of cool signs. A couple of news trucks. KATU TV is really on YOUR side. They let someone put a note on their truck and there were dred-locked kids swarming over it, and they didn't really seem to care.
They moved on over and took over two parks. At this time, it's all I have. I have two videos, I'll youtube them and try to figure out how to imbed with the "help" faq.
Good nite all.
p.s. I can't figure out how to imbed photos, so here's a link to PhotoBucket.
