Namaste~!  I hope everything looks bright and peaceful on your Saturday morning.  I hope you join me in some breathing and stretching.
Let's begin with taking 5 slow and deep breaths.  Put your hand on your tummy, sit up straight and feel your tummy move in and out with each breath.  Close your eyes and park your troubles by the door for a few minutes.

Right now is about you.  Let go and relax with me.  Please don't focus on getting anything exact, dont worry about straight legs or arms.  If you just do what you can, you will feel so good when youre done...please try.

Happy New Year!  Namaste =)  I saw that I wasn't listed on the schedule but I wrote this anyway.  I hope I didn't step on any toes.   I copied some from an old diary.  This year was hectic and I am glad to see it go.  I hope everyone has fun tonight.

I am so happy you are here.  Tonight is probably going to be a late night for some, so let's take care of ourselves now.  Drink water, deep breaths, sit up straight.  And since it is the cold and flu season, consider carrying some anti-bacterial goo with you.  Today just for my OCD, take your remote control and cell phone and wipe them down with a clorox wipe then let them air dry.

Ok, five happy deep breaths and we are sitting up straight.  Pull your shoulders down, stretch your neck.  Roll your neck (I'm sure you hear cracking).

Good morning.  I have been up since about 3am.  Today is going to be ugly.  I just can't sleep and to make it worse, the person next to me is sleeping soundly.  Don't you just hate that?   But first, some happy news to report.  I finally got a job at a big St Louis hospital---night shift.  Guess I'll have to get used to being up.  Anywho, I start January 13th in high risk cardiology.  And due to the wackiness of the new shedyule, I'm stepping down as a regular after January 4th.  I'm pretty sad about it, but I'll still be around.  I have been absent a lot lately, so time for some fresh starts.  I'm counting on all of you to keep up the breathing and stretching even in my absence.  And please drink at least 2L of water every day, especially wintertime!  I'm sure all of us are coping with dry skin, dry lips, etc.  So drink that water.

Namaste.  Welcome to Saturday yoga.  Start by clearing your head.  Let go of everything that is causing you stress, pain, or anything taking your thoughts off being here and now.  Sit up straight, raise your neck, lower your shoulders, and stretch your spine.  Take 2 deep breaths, in and out.  Let's get your tissues oxygenated.  Take 2 more deep breaths.  Your head might feel a little clearer.  Please drink 8 big glasses of water today.  Water is important in the winter time because we get very dehydrated without realizing it.  The sun isn't making us sweaty, but our body needs the moisture for every function.  Please people 8 glasses today.  =)

Sit up straight, smile, really.  Its going to be a great day.  Let's breathe in and out deeply.  Let the air fill you up until your stomach pushes out, then release it slowly.  Do this 5 times.
Stretch your spine by bending over and touching your toes.  Fold over from the waist gently.  Notice how your vertebrae pull apart.  Slowly sit up and do some slow neck rolls.  Now roll your shoulders.  Twist at the waist.  Now stand and stretch those legs, get up on your tip toes and reach for the ceiling.  If you have a cat, guaranteed they'd be jealous.  Enjoy that stretch.

Good morning, glories and namaste.  Time to take some deep breaths and relax.  Sit up straight, lower your shoulders, pull in your stomach.  How are you feeling?
Roll your neck, loosen up muscles and tension.
Pull your shoulders forward in a hunch, then pull them back.   You should be feeling a little better with minimal effort.
Stretch from side to side.  Let the intercostal muscles (in between your ribs) get some stretch time too.
As always, drink 2L of water today.  Water can work miracles.  Your kidneys will love you for it.
