1. Overly idealistic Liberals who expend all their energy on expressing their disappointments with the compromises of progressive (but imperfect) forces - like Obama & MSNBC – who are, at least trying to move the ball in many of the right directions (which would be Left). It is counterproductive to equate them with:
a. Corporatists (the Kochs, ALEC, Monsanto . . . ) who support privatization, deregulation, Citizens Unites & the growing disparity of income , wealth & opportunity.; while opposing environmentalism, organized labor & campaign finance reform
b. Christian fundamentalists, who oppose a woman’s right to choose, marriage equality, the separation of church & state & science (including evolution & global warming
c. RWNJs, TeaBaggers, Racists, homophobes & misogynists who oppose immigration reform and who are often manipulated by the above to vote against their own self-interest
2. Misinformed NJ Christiecrats who haven’t been paying attention. If they were they’d never support Chris Christie, who is really a Walker, Snyder, Kasich clone.
3. Influential Progressives and Democrats who, for one reason or another, have not gotten behind Barbara Buono; Among the most notable of these are the DNC, the DNCC, the DGA, the Obamas, Liz Warren, the Clintons, Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen – and a special bash for Rahm Emannuel & George Soros who have actually contributed or encouraged Christie donations.
4. Formerly rational & compassionate conservatives who continue to embrace the GOP – although, if they looked at the parties objectively, they’d see that the Democrats are much closer to their ideology and that they represent their own best interests
