A relative posted this video on her FB. I didn't want to respond to it there, because 1) I don't think I'd change her mind, 2) I'm assuming most of her friends have similar ideas, and I don't want to be involved in someone else's range war.

Title is "How to stop a massacre". But notice that the two "bad guys" haven't fired a shot. I assume they were using their guns to intimidate. For all I know they're toy guns.
They're total amateurs. The first one leaves the room and the second turns his back on half the room. That's when the "senior citizen" decides to become a hero.
Patrons are not running away or getting on the floor. They're just milling around. Was this a staged event? Regardless...
The "senior citizen" unloads his gun at the BACKS of the two "bad guys". Hardly sporting. And apparently misses every single time.
Finally, this was July 2012. Four years ago. Over 300 people get shot every day and over 90 die. The "good guy with a gun" crowd had to go back 1400 days, almost 130,000 gun homicides, to find this weak incident in which nobody was even badly hurt and the “bad guys” didn’t use their guns? (Except for the potential of two shot in the back, if Senior Citizen had been a better shot... Or a worse shot.)
Oh, and browse below the video to see people praising him as a patriot and saying he should have killed them both, and more. So, it’s apparently not about defense — it’s about an opportunity to play cowboy.
