I’ve been with DK since 2008 and this will be my very first blog entry—albeit very short.
I just really feel good today as I filled out my absentee ballot for the state of Montana and was proud to have the opportunity of voting for Hillary Clinton for our President.
This is a momentous occasion as we're on the brink of electing our first woman President. Clinton has been aggressively and viciously attacked by the gee oh pee for over 20 years, ever since she was our First Lady. And through all of that, she is standing tall and proud and will be sending a real monster on the way to the trash heap of failed political agendas.
My one regret is that there are so many others that will have to struggle to cast their vote this year. For me it was easy, my voter registration was done several years ago where I did need to have a photo ID. However, in Montana that was reasonably easy as a Drivers License, a State issued ID, School ID or Tribal ID are all sufficient. After the initial voter registration, I am sent a ballot through the mail for every local, state and federal election.
My other ballot sections were: Denise Juneau for House of Representatives (Montana only has one such seat), Steve Bullock for Governor, Monica Lindeen for Secretary of State and Larry Jent for Attorney General.
