Im not sure how many of you know that tomorrow nights edition of Nightline was going to be completely dedicated to reading the names of the US soldiers whom have given their lives in the
war in Iraq.
However Sinclair Broadcasting has decided that they are going to pull the show tomorrow (over 10 stations in battleground states). I called them this morning to complain and they read me a written statement questioning Ted Coppel's motives for reading these names and claimed it would be more appropriate if he were to read the names of those who have been killed in terrorist attacks.
Obviously this is crap because I have heard about several instances where the entire list of 9-11 victims have been read and not once have I heard about a mass media outlet reading of the list of dead soldiers.
I urge you all to call these stations and voice your dissaproval. Don't be mean as the people you are talking to don't make decisions. Just log a well thought out complaint.
