On My Return to DKos

Awhile back I decided to no longer post to Daily Kos because I am not a Democrat and this was a Democratic blog. I'm going to overrule myself on this because I enjoy debating politics and issues.  Read on to learn a bit more about me.

Ohioans For A Fair Minimum Wage are presently circulating a petition to amend the Ohio Constitution to change the state minimum wage from $4.25/hr to $6.85/hr.  Recently, the Republican-controlled legislature changed the minimum wage to $5.15 in a bill that removed $100 million from the worker's compensation program.  Certainly, they'll use this against the amendement in a "voted for it before he voted against it"-type scenario (many Democrats voted against it) in the upcoming election.

Sherrod Brown on Springer

Jerry Springer had Sherrod Brown on his show recently to talk about the upcoming senate race.  Topics include the Hackett ordeal, minimum wage, foreign policy, and the UAE port debacle.  Hackett supporters can hear Brown in his own words about the supposed swiftboating and on his late entry into the Senate race.
