Today, at 7:15 am PST, I cast my vote for John Kerry to be the 44th President of the United States. And as long as the GOP's efforts to intimidate, defraud, and disenfranchise Democratic voters can be stopped, he will be.
It's not too late for you to make a difference, though, particularly if you live in a swing state like Ohio or Wisconsin. And if you don't, if you live in a "safe" blue or red state, your vote still matters--every number in the popular vote increases the margin by which John Kerry will win the election, and makes it harder for Republicans to question his legitimacy or his mandate. Every vote increases the numbers by which the American people overwhelmingly reject the failed agendas and criminal misconduct of the Bush administration.
Still on the fence? Think there are no effective differences between Kerry and Bush, and want to cast a protest vote? Read on.
