Before I begin this diary I should say that after watching the race speech in its entirety, It is clear to me that Barack Obama doesn't share the controversial views of Jeremiah Wright, and has thoroughly rejected them.
That said, one of the common arguments I'm hearing from Clinton and McCain supporters is that electing Obama would be putting the mindset of Jeremiah Wright/Louis Farrakhan in the white house. The truth is that Obama would do more to alienate the Wright/Farrakhan ideology then it would to advance it.
If Obama gets elected, then even Louis Farrakhan will have to recognize that America can elect a black man as president. All of a sudden, all of those people who believed this ideology will see something that contradicts all they've known. If a black man can be elected president then all of a sudden, an ideology of hate will be alienated and an ideology of hope advanced.
