Obviously Ohio and Florida and still not sure about Iowa and New Mexico, but looking at the results from 2000 and 2004 there wasn't much gain made anywhere.
In 2000, Bush won Nevada by about 4%, with Nader getting about 2.5% of the vote. In 2004, Bush won by 3% (20,000 votes). Reid becoming the Senate Minority Leader is a very good move by the Dems. With Vegas as the fastest growing city in the U.S., this is an obvious focal state.
In Colorado, Dems really didn't make much of a dent. Sure Salazar won, but Bush won by about 8% in 2000, with 5% going to Nader. In 2004, Bush won by 7%, with 1% going to Nader. The Salazar victory is a very good sign. Hopefully he becomes a high profile member in the Senate.
Missouri, Virginia, North Carolina, Arkansas and Arizona were rather disappointing. There was no gain in North Carolina even with Edwards on the ticket. I know some of you really like Edwards, but this is rather indicative of what he brings to a Dem ticket. Also, Dems lost ground in MO, ARK and AZ.
