Discussions about the crime of rape appear in a couple diaries today: good. This diary doesn't fit with those threads very well, and I don't want to digress from a discussion for fear of hijacking it, but the subject here, positive maleness, is related. Examples of negative maleness are ubiquitous.
One primary story comes to mind. I hesitate to upend anyone's religious apple cart by saying this, but Mary, the mother of Jesus, was not a Virgin. Human sexuality doesn't work that way. Joseph, the dad, had sexual intercourse with Mary, the mom. Sperm and egg met. Mary was pregnant for about 9 months (a good guess) and gave birth to Jesus, most likely in a manger, if accounts are correct.
Joseph's pecker had something to do with it. And that's a good thing, isn't it?
