After reading Bink's Diary I was struck by the attitude expressed by many. That we need to change things, and the government needs to do this or that, despite the government's insistance that things are great, and working as they should. The fight it took to make a great nation, was undone without so much as a pushback. "free trade agreements" undermined everything our fathers and grandfathers struggled against. And what do we do? Complain and console each other.
While it's not an attack on Bink, or the commenters, I understand the pressure to put food on the table; and the want and need for stability. it is an attack on our collective thought processes. Bink makes a wonderfully sarcastic assessment of America's problems, but misses what made us a great nation in the first place.
His Tip jar calls his prospect of a job interview at a 40 percent pay decrease as a 'positive note.' I'm unemployed as well, but I'd rather die than see this as a future positve for ANYONE.
Are you willing to concede defeat, or are you willing to do what's neccessary to take it back?
