I tithed for my four great-nieces and great-nephews who are too young to understand politics and don't realize yet that their future college educations may be too expensive for their parents to afford.
I tithed for my oldest niece and her husband who finally found an affordable home to raise their family, but it is located within a mile of an oil refinery that taints the air that they breathe and causes fears about their future health problems as our government reduces emission standards, corporate oversight & accountabilty and safety & hazzard inspections.
I tithed for my youngest niece who is a single mother with a good job that has succeeded in life with the help that she has received from housing, child daycare, child healthcare and headstart assistance programs that are all in constant danger of being reduced or eliminated by our government.
