(*update: changed title cause worried about confusion with my tongue in cheek joke. I hope that's okay.)
Friends, I’m appealing to you because our film, "Dean and Me: Roadshow of an American Primary," isn’t just about the people Howard Dean inspired.
It’s about us. It’s about people who have the integrity to set aside their own personal lives for a spell to work on issues that are much bigger than ourselves.
It’s not about the candidates of 2004 or 2008.
It’s about the common goal we have of restoring our country so that the children have a chance to thrive in the America we know still exists under the current shadows.
This movie is a timeless archive of our history, our movement.
We can all disagree about who the best figurehead is, but we come together in the agreement that the status quo just isn’t good enough.
Eight years of the Bush rape and pillage of our country isn’t going to change over night. The establishment forces will fight to maintain their's until they face a bigger, tougher opponent.
This film offers you a chance to help add one more tool to our progressive arsenal.
